memories of moalboal

twas probably my nth time to moalboal but that was the first time i got to really experience it. thanks to tristan for being a wonderful host. :-)

chief mau station was where almost everything happened. and some of them are better not told. hehehehe.

twas homy and the john is clean too. it has a pool (unfortunately i didn't get to plunge into) and a bar where different drinks are served. internet is available (wish i brought my laptop that time) and billiards becomes your favorite pastime.

a lot of these are displayed at restaurants in moalboal. tomatoes, scallion and sometimes even baguio beanstalks on ready-to-be-grilled fish or squid. apparently this is suppose to make the fish or squid tastier. next time we're there we'll check out the taste.

last filling station is indeed the last filling station of the bas diot strip. from chief mau's to here, it'll be a 10 minute walk. but it was worth it because the pizza was delicious. they also serve real food (with rice) that are mostly italian.

ambiance of the place was great too!

just near chief mau, several trees had all these bottles hanging on the barks. when you look closely, each of the bottles have rolled papers inside tied by a yarn. we wanted to ask naomi (owner of the place) what those are, unfortunately she wasn't around when we checked. we were really intrigued by the sight and it would've been awesome to know the story. naomi's bottle museum.

if not for this trip, i wouldn't have realized that my two year old, almost obsolete digital camera could produce dslr-like pictures. or it could be that the person taking snaps matter. and yes, i wasn't the one who took this picture. (beej you may grab this).
one thing's for sure, my camera captured these memories of moalboal.
