slumdog millionaire

im not trying to be a film critic here. let me just share movie that i've recently seen and i recommend for everyone to watch.

slumdog millionaire is based on a book written by an Indian author, although written, produced and directed by Europeans, the film was shot in India and starred by their local artists.
the idea of the movie is really simple, experience is the best teacher. and this was depicted through the game show, who wants to be a millionaire. the main character knew the answers to the game questions because at one point in his life he stumbled upon them. "you don't have to be a genius to know the answer."

it's a movie that speaks of realities. it featured the slums, poverty, crime, enslavement, betrayal, conflicts, life and love.

it's enjoyable to watch and heartwarming. it's 8.5 in the watch-o-meter.
