ka "lami" sa hapuhap

finally...a massage after three months! thanks to xavier solis for inviting 8 cebu bloggers society members (luckily, i made it to the eighth spot) to a treat in their one month old spa, hapuhap wellness. hapuhap, which translates to caress in english, lived up to its name with the service i received.

as usual i was late for the appointment. aika, whom i was suppose to meet for the first time had to text me to check where i was. you see, i live 5 minutes away by car and you understand how that can be a problem sometimes. i've had officemates who live next to the office yet come in late every single day. (gets?) though behind schedule, xavier and co-owner of hapuhap wellness spa don2x still welcomed us warmly.

"lami" was the first word that i blurted out when xavier asked me how the massage went. the masseur (yes i had a guy service me for the first time) was surprisingly gentle. he's got the touch of a masseuse, it's either that or he was just being careful. xavier shared that the hapuhap massage is a combo of shiatsu, swedish and thai. didn't really feel the thai bit of it, which was good because i hate having to participate in the therapy. i just want to sleep during the whole session. i'm glad it made me! "lami" is such a perfect adjective.
